This session covers how apprenticeships and traineeships work in Australia — from traditional trades like plumbing and electrical to newer white-collar apprenticeships in tech, business, and government. Find out what's involved, what you'll earn while you learn, and how to get started.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Apprenticeships R Us is a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation that has been placing Australian apprentices and trainees with host employers since 2004. Headquartered in Parramatta, Sydney, with an additional Melbourne office and operations across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, Apprenticeships Are Us directly employs apprentices and provides them with mentoring, life-skills training and ongoing support across the duration of their qualification. Originally specialising in automotive trades, it now covers fields including business administration, IT, electrical, plumbing, early childhood education and fabrication, with a particular focus on supporting young school leavers.
