This session is presented by Sam Clark from Southern Cross University.
Founded in 1994 in the NSW Northern Rivers, Southern Cross University has campuses in Lismore, Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast, plus partner locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. SCU is best known for pioneering the Southern Cross Model, an active-learning block approach where students focus on one or two subjects at a time. Its academic strengths include marine and environmental science (with the National Marine Science Centre at Coffs Harbour), nursing and allied health, business, education, and Indigenous knowledges. Around 21,600 students study with SCU across its campuses and online.
