This presentation briefly outlines the four key types of qualification you can use to apply for undergraduate courses at the University of Sydney (secondary qualifications, higher education studies, diplomas, and university preparation courses) within the context of the mature-age student perspective.

 ABOUT THE PRESENTER 

This session is presented by Beth Downey from the University of Sydney.

The University of Sydney is Australia's first university, founded in 1850, and a member of the Group of Eight research-intensive universities. Its main campus straddles Camperdown and Darlington in inner Sydney, with additional sites at Camden (vet and agriculture), Westmead (health), and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in the city. Around 73,000 students study at USyd across more than 400 courses, including medicine, law, business, engineering, the arts and sciences, veterinary science and music. It is consistently ranked in the world's top 50 universities and is known for both academic depth and a wide range of equity entry pathways.
