Dentistry is a rewarding career with strong employment prospects — but getting in requires planning. This session covers what studying dentistry involves, the different entry pathways, what dental schools look for in applicants, and what a career in dentistry actually looks like.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Dr Peter Nguyen is a dentist based in Melbourne. He shares content on social media about his journey through dental school and his experiences as a young dentist, with a focus on making dentistry more relatable and accessible. Outside of clinical practice, Peter enjoys the creative side of content creation and is passionate about combining dentistry, storytelling and social media.
